The article focuses on the need for students to develop an adequate intercultural competence. One of the key concepts of intercultural communication is national stereotypes, which need not be "eradicated", but it is necessary to learn to be aware.

CULTURAL AND CONCEPTUAL FEATURES OF TRANSLATION OF RUSSIAN PHILOSOPHIC TEXTS TO FRENCH LANGUAGE

The article is devoted to the linguistic and conceptual features of the translation into French of the texts of the Russian philosopher of the twentieth century. A. Losev. On the one hand, we are talking about the designation of different concepts with one unit of the language of translation; The absence of words and expressions makes the translator look for other lexical means. On the other hand, the problem is rather a conceptual plan, since the translation of a certain concept from one language to another is not always adequate and does not fully convey its meaning.

Franco-Canadians interested in sports discuss sports events on the Internet with famous sportsmen, coaches, journalists. One of the main topics of discussion is the evaluation of the achieved result. During the dialogue, different evaluation situations arise: the fan estimates the achievement of the athlete, the athlete evaluates his own achievements, the fan and the athlete evaluate the results of third parties. The article analyzes the correlation of positive and negative evaluations in different situations and gives characteristic examples of speech acts.
