SEMANTIC ENGLICSMISM IN THE PRINTED MEDIA OF FRENCH-JANUARY CANADA
This article is devoted to the analysis of the language of print media in French-speaking Canada and, in particular, to the study of such a phenomenon as semantic borrowing. The existence of this type of borrowing is due, first of all, to the special linguistic situation prevailing in Canada. It is the presence of semantic borrowings from the English language is the main feature of the language of the print media in Canada.
