‘Remember till every birch’. Metaphor in the poetry of Gennady Kasmynin

In an article dedicated to the poetic heritage of G. G. Kasmynin, an attempt is made to determine the artistic and philosophical paradigm of metaphor in the poet’s creative method, the metaphorical picture of the world of his poetry is actualized, opposing the time of decay, the tragic consept of the historical frontire, when the author’s talent reached its peak.

Dialect in German Language Fairy Tales (Study Relevance and Interpretation Examples)

The article deals with the German dialect, which has recently been drawing the increasing amount of attention in German-speaking countries. Nowadays, the verbal genre of telling fairy tales is popular there, and fairy tales are related and represented by means of dialect more frequently. The authors of the article analyze the use of different dialecticisms and their textual functions on the example of the interpretation of two of the brothers Grimms’ fairy tales, in which separate dialect words from the Plattdeutch and the Hessen dialect are used.

CHEKHOVSKY "PLATONOV" ("PIECE WITHOUT NAME") IN THE INTERPRETATION OF M. FREIN

The article is devoted to the study of the play of the modern English playwright M. Frein "Wild Honey", which in turn is a translation-interpretation of Chekhov's "Platonov". The article analyzes approaches, ways Frein uses in working with Chekhov's text, and also tries to understand how organically the classical Russian-language text exists in the space of the theatrical culture of England.

MODULES OF ARTISTIC KNOWLEDGE AND THE DEIKTIC FIELD OF THE WORK

In this article, an attempt is made to compare the modular structure of artistic knowledge with the morphological characteristics of the text, their interpretation in terms of analysis of the principles of style formation. As the grammatically expressed constructive parameter of the text, the author considers the category of deixis in its linguistic and artistic expression. Elements of the hierarchically organized deictic field can provide a tool for reconstructing the semantic structure of the text, which is demonstrated by the example of the interpretation of Nabokov's novel Dar.

Cognitive Models of Some Tonality Types of English and French Media Discourse (Retracted 11/04/2022)

The article focuses on the category of tonality that is regarded as the mechanism for representation of the interpreting function of the language. Ironic and complimentary types of tonality are proved to be the most frequently represented in English and French media discourse. These types of tonality are realized by a range of cognitive mechanisms determining the capacity of some cognitive models.

The article focuses on different approaches to categorization and deals with the study of cognitive aspects of modus (interpretative) category of tonality as a means of expressing the speaker’s subjective attitude to the facts of the objective reality. The complicated structure and methods of realization of tonality are shown on the example of journalistic discourse of the English language.
