"Mobile" jargon is a living and heterogeneous composition of the vocabulary of the Russian language, which has a number of features. The development of this linguistic phenomenon and its wide distribution among the speakers of the Russian language are conditioned by the introduction of mobile technologies in the life of modern society. Most units of this idiom are formed on the basis of metaphorical transfer. The lexemes used by the carriers of this jargon as a source of metaphorization are extremely diverse. Compared with general language trends, metaphorization in "mobile" jargon has its own specifics, which allows us to reveal the identity of the language picture of the world of its carriers.
