Henri de Régnier and A. S. Pushkin in Marina Tsvetayeva’s Metapoetics

The article deals with the problem of the interpretation of an author’s identity in correlation with the literary actuality (symbolism, poetic ideology of the Apollon journal) and the universal poetic canon (Pushkin). We analyze the forms of poetic self-identification used by the young poet in formation (Marina Tsvetayeva), the mentor – disciple relationship between Voloshin and Tsvetayeva, and ways in which Tsvetayeva transforms the Pushkin myth in the process of creating her individual poetics.

Fedor Sologub and «Shipovnik» (Rose-Tree) (his Relationships with the Editorial Board)

In the article the relationships between the Shipovnik Almanac publishing house owners and editors (S. Yu. Kopelman, Z. I. Grzhebin, B. Zaytsev, L. Andreev) and the writer F. Sologub are considered. The history of the publication of the novel «Nav’s Charms» in the Almanac Shipovnik is traced taking into account literary reviews to its publication.

The article analyzes the figurative structure of a poem by A. A. Fet «Obrochnik» (collector of rent). It being considered and interpreted in the context of the Orthodox tradition gives us insights into the problem of «Fet and religion», reveals the life and poetry credo of the author.

The article presents a consecutive chronological analysis of three program articles by P. V. Annenkov dedicated to A. F. Pisemsky’s works from the perspective of the individual and poetic, topical, but, in the first place, the most important for the critic, genre analysis.

To the Poetics of the Images of A. V. Sukhovo-Kobylin. Varravin and Raspluev

The article deals with the images of General Varravin and Rasplyuev and examines their relationships. The researcher shows how the state, represented by Varravin, creates a monster, which at some point becomes a danger not only for the city inhabitants, but also for its own creators.

The Motive of Extemporaneous Rumor in the Chronotope of the Cycle by N. V. Gogol «Evenings on a Farm Near Dikanka»

The article considers the motive of rumor in its spatial and time expression based on the cycle of «Evenings on a Farm Near Dikanka» by N. V. Gogol. The stylistic functions of the rumor motive in the novels’ plots and the internal link with the folk tradition are researched.

«A Message to Women» as a Manifesto of N. M. Karamzin’s Views on Women’s Studies

In the article a program poem by N. M. Karamzin, «A Message to Women» is analyzed. This poem reveals the views of the writer on different perspectives of the ‘woman question’ and represents a typology of female images traditional for the Russian poetry of the XVIII century.
